About Wamirii
Wamirii is a compassionate and innovative platform committed to helping families and communities in their search for missing persons. By leveraging the power of shared information, empathy, and collaboration, we strive to raise awareness and drive action that leads to meaningful reunifications. Our mission is fueled by a deep sense of purpose and the belief that every missing person deserves to be found—and every family deserves answers.
Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and empathetic Volunteer Coordinator who can do more than manage logistics—someone who can inspire and emotionally connect volunteers to the heart of Wamirii’s mission. In this role, you will foster a sense of purpose, showing volunteers how their individual contributions—from data entry to follow-ups—are part of a larger story that can change lives.
You will help bridge the gap between roles, translating behind-the-scenes efforts into stories and outcomes that the social media manager can amplify. Your work will ensure that every volunteer not only understands their task but feels deeply connected to the impact it creates. Together, we want to make Wamirii the leading and most trusted platform for missing persons data

- Collaborate with the social media manager and other team members to ensure internal efforts are communicated to the public in compelling ways.
- Help design systems that not only track volunteer contributions but also capture the human stories behind the data.
- Strengthen our volunteer community with activities that build trust, alignment, and ownership of the mission.
