Role Overview

We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Social Media Manager to help build and enhance Wamirii’s online presence. In this role, you will craft engaging content, grow our community, and use the power of social media to drive awareness about missing persons and the work we do.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Create and schedule posts, stories, and campaigns that align with Wamirii’s mission.
• Engage with followers, respond to messages, and build a supportive online community.
• Collaborate with the team to design graphics, infographics, and other multimedia content.
• Monitor analytics to assess the impact of campaigns and suggest improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
• Creativity and ability to produce engaging, mission-driven content.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Passion for social impact and helping families connect with missing loved ones.
• Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva) are a plus.
